I was quite fortunate to have learned filmmaking and storytelling on the job, first as an ad agency Art Director, then Copywriter and finally Creative Director for some of the world’s top agencies and clients, writing, producing and even directing many famous campaigns.
Over a span of thirty five years, I made over three hundred TV commercials for blue chip companies like Miller Beer, Sprint, Heinz, Intel and more.
Many of these spots and shorts won international awards, including dozens of gold medals and five CLIOs, and four of my spots appeared in Super Bowls.
Making commercials taught me the value of visual storytelling, illustrated by these examples.

This is a logo and trailer I designed for Producer and Founder Mark Castaldo’s production company, Destiny Pictures. It reflects their company slogan: “Dreams are like stars. You may never touch them, but if you follow them, they will lead you to your destiny. ”
