Bio

Tom is a high-concept screenwriter living in Los Angeles, CA. He has written eight feature scripts, one of which is produced and running on the Lifetime Channel, three of which have been optioned, plus a low-budget horror feature writing assignment and two series pilots. He specializes in true stories, thrillers and actions.

Several of his features have placed highly in screenwriting competitions, including, most recently, the semi-finals in the 2018 Los Angeles Screenwriting contest, the 2017 Austin Film Festival and Screencraft Action competitions; and Winner of the 2016 Rebel Seed True Story Screenplay Competition and Winner, Southern California Screenplay Competition. He was also an official Judge in the 2017 Burbank Int’l Film Festival. A co-written feature, VIGILANTE PREACHER, is slated to begin production soon. He holds a Masters Certificate from Screenwriting U in Santa Clarita, and a BFA in advertising design/copywriting from Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Prior to writing for the big screen, Tom led the creative charge at several blue-chip ad agencies, writing, creating, producing and directing over 350 high-concept commercials and storytelling films and videos. His ads have appeared in four Superbowls, and garnered hundreds of national and international awards, including five CLIOs (the so-called Oscars of advertising), and gold medals in the New York Festival of Radio and TV, the Short Attention Span Film Festival and the London International Festival of TV.
